Christmas Proposals Meeting
We have decided on a date for the Christmas Proposals Meeting, which will be held on the 7th of June. That's right potential writers, you have a good 4 weeks to work out your proposals and polish off those scene excerpts.
If you're going to propose we're going to need:
- Synopsis of your plot including a scene by scene description of your panto's progression
- An example scene (or scenes) to demonstrate your writing ability
- A list of characters
- A list of songs
- Ideas for set, props and costumes
Remember that scripts do not need to be finished by the proposals meeting, but you'll need to convince us that your script can be finished.
Also we will be looking for:
- Director
- Producer
- Musical Director
- Editors
So keep this in mind and jot the 7th of June down in your diaries and get scripting!
Summer Socials!
Kate our wonderful Social Secretary will be organising some fantastic social events for us this summer. An exciting all day scavenger hunt all around Bristol and of course the traditional Panto Picnic! This year's theme will be Video Games, so when you're not in deep revision why not distract yourself by planning your costume?

Pantomimes are not just for Christmas either, so we have 3 shows a year (one per term) including with our award wining Christmas show all the way to our classic Panto-in-a-day.
We are an inclusive society so what ever you believe your ability is, you are never to good (or too bad) to join PantoSoc.
If you want to get involved in Bristol's funniest and friendliest arts society, whether it's on stage, playing music, or behind the scenes, then this is the place for you.
