Indiana Jones and the Crusade of the Wooden Puppet
Easter 2005
What do you get if you cross a hit hollywood blockbuster with one of our oldest and most dear children's fairy tales? A one-off
spectacular? A brilliant comedy to rival the greats? The Passion of the Christ? Well, possibly. But you might also get this - an ingenious, twisted,
and frankly hilarious take on the angst-ridden inner wranglings of late-teenage wooden puppethood and the pains of being a retired superhero in need
of employment. In this 21st century "parable of our times" we experience a clash of cultures as the pop-appeal of the Indiana Jones trilogy is forced
to come to terms with its heritage as a descendent of the great fairy tales of yore.
Well, actually, apart from all the poncey nonsense above, its a bloody good script, and really funny. This show is recommended for
all kids aged 3 to 103. Oh, crap, fundamental error of semantics there. There aren't any kids aged 103. Damn it.
