Aladdin 2: A Lad in Trouble
This December join us in a realm of sultry maidens, sulky sorcerers and salty sailors for Aladdin 2, our mahoosive Christmas Panto.
It promises to be an exciting (and challenging) show for both cast and crew, with ninja pirates, exotic dancers, huge throbbing innuendo, sword fights, a live band and all the character and chorus roles you can eat (mmm… rolls).
Set in an anonymous oriental Kingdom, the evil sorcerer Abenazer has returned to wreck his revenge upon Aladdin and the Princess Jade. To find aid, they travel to the ends of the earth (though not as far as Croydon) to enlist the help of Sinbad and the genie of the lamp.
All singing and dancing (except for the large sections which aren’t), music is shamelessly borrowed and re-worded from Sleeper, Abba, Blondie, The Beatles and others.
